Experts have told us that singing is good for us. There are numerous studies that show that singing can improve mood and self-confidence, but what else can it do?

Today we'll be joining a group of people of all ages to undertake an informal social experiment and test the theory...

The Big Sing is designed to make you more mindful of the power of singing to transform your feelings. After lending our voices to songs both uplifting and mournful, we'll measure our moods and evaluate the impact of singing on our mental state.

Not a great singer? Don't worry, you won't be singled out! This is more about the science than the singing.

But either way, it's going to be fun and it's going to be interesting!
