Greenwich – It’s About Time!

Today we’re leaving central London and venturing South of the River and climbing up high to follow Ian Jelf on a walk around a part of London which is literally known all around the world: Greenwich!

Our two hour wander will involve a bit of climbing but it should be worth it as there are some splendid views to be had. And given Ian's, er, "individual" style of guiding, we're bound to learn just *why* this part of London became the basis of the world's time. On the way, he's also promised to "fill us in" about Kings, Queens, Sailors (!), clergymen getting stoned to death by Danes and a huge dropping ball.......
