Formerly home to Henry VIII and a host of other English and British royals, Hampton Court was opened to the public by Queen Victoria nearly two hundred years ago. One of London's architectural marvels, the baroque extension was designed by Sir Christopher Wren, most famous for St Paul's Cathedral.
Today we will be visiting the palace and - weather permitting - the grounds. If people want, we can attempt to puzzle our way through the famous maze, or just stride the corridors where history was made. A-MAZE-ING!
Of course, no day out would be complete without a stop somewhere for a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
