Well now is the time to show off your skills!
Poker night is an intermediate level poker game, not suitable for beginners. It is just a bit of fun with low stakes so don't worry if you're not an expert, you'll just need to know the rules already and be able to jump into a game.
Get yourself a drink, pull up a chair, and get your best poker face at the ready!
The plan
Your lovely host will meet you in the The Pepys at 7pm where we have a of table reserved under Thinking Bob. The game will start at 7.15pm so please try and be on time or let your host know you will be running late.
The stakes rules within a pub…
There is a maximum value to both the amount that can be staked and the prize that can be offered when playing poker in a pub. The maximum stake per player is £5 per game, and the combined stakes for your premises should not exceed £100 per day.
The maximum prize is £100 per game. This maximum includes money, payments in-kind, vouchers, goods, donated items, goody-bags, buy-ins at other poker tournaments and other items that have a value.
The amount of people who attend will depend on the initial bidding stake per game (max £5). This will be determined on the night. If we have enough interest we’ll break into a few games based on ability.
