New friends for New Year’s Eve: meet new people at our ‘alter-ego’ NYE bash!
6th December 2013There aren’t very many parties you can turn up to on your own – especially on New Year’s Eve. But thinking bob parties are different. They’re just as lively as any other party, except everybody comes to make new friends. And New Year’s Eve is the highlight of the year!
Come on your own or in a group… your choice!
At a thinking bob party, it doesn’t matter whether you want to meet new friends or come with existing ones. We treat everyone the same and there will always be someone to talk to.
In fact, the majority of our members joined on their own but have now built up enough of a social circle to meet up outside thinking bob as well. All of our parties and events are tailor-made for being social while you’re single.
Hundreds of new friends in one place
Heidi* came to one of our parties while she was on her own in London for work: “I felt very welcome right from the beginning. Becks, Phil, James and the thinking bob members welcomed people like me who came on their own.
“I was immediately put in a team with fun, interesting people. It was great to have a reason to get out of my apartment at night, for events I really looked forward to!”
Steven* has been to a few of our parties this year: “The big parties are great: everyone makes a lot of effort and there are hundreds of interesting people to talk to.
“I was very nervous at first, but it turned out I wasn’t alone. Conversations started quickly and I met new people who would later become my best friends. There was a good mix of people: men and women, old and young, from all different types of profession. No conversation was the same.
“There was no pressure to stay late, but I ended up leaving at 3am in a taxi!”
