The phrase was coined by Aristotle and at the time, the guy was applying it to explain synergy.

He meant that by combining a group of factors/parts/people the result was something larger than expected, because the parts reacted with one another> just like in Thinking Bob

A bunch of people make a community and they all go to bespoke events, private events, start message threads, add one another and meet face-to-face.

To be a part of it, you have to go to your first social and we’re going to give to some icebreakers to get you started.

Meet Andy. Andy is a thinking bob member, well, and example of one, we just made him up.

He’s a chemist and if Bob were to meet him… he’d tell him a chemistry joke.

“Don’t trust atoms, they make up everything.”

“I have many chemistry jokes: I’m just worried they wont have a good reaction”

Everyone loves a joke about their profession, we reckon Miriam is the same:

“Three engineering students were gathered together discussing who must have designed the human body.
One said, “It was a mechanical engineer. Just look at all the joints.”
Another said, “No, it was an electrical engineer. The nervous system has many thousands of electrical connections.”
The last one said, “No, actually it had to have been a civil engineer. Who else would run a toxic waste pipeline through a recreational area?”

Now you’ve met some fictional members, we thought you might like to go out and meet some real ones, and learn how we’re greater than the sum of our parts.
