  • Southbank Christmas Market Stroll

    Join your fellow bobbers for an afternoon of Christmas Market exploring. Southbank once again opens its doors to the masses and provides a large variety of markets across the site. Stroll along the waterfront and enjoy traditional wooden chalets serving up festive food, warming drinks, unique gifts and seasonal ingredients.

    Try out seasonal produce including mince pies at the real food Christmas markets at Southbank Centre Square and check out work from over 50 designers at the designer maker market at the Festival Undercroft. And for even more edible gifts join in at the chocolate festival too!

    The Christmas Market on Vorosmarty Square is often thought of as the single Christmas market in the city of Budapest, which luckily is not true. However, what is true is that the Xmas fair on Vörösmarty Square is the oldest, richest and the most spectacular of all the Christmas markets in Budapest.
    The Christmas market on St Stephen’s Square is right in front of the beautiful St Stephen’s Basilica (St Istvan Bazilika), one of the tallest buildings on the Pest side of Budapest, and one of the biggest churches in Hungary.
