Meet new people, use your brain and do something good!
Like many people in our capital, at thinkingbob we also want to do our bit and help worthy good causes; but at the same time we don’t wont to use the loyalty of our members just to get money out of them. We know how frustrating it can be constantly being asked for sponsorship or donations.
This is where Becks, our founder who kicked off her events experience at charities has come up with the thinkingbob alternative. She looked at it from a new perspective to see how else we can give to good causes.
Lets put our brains together and think for charities!
Every couple of months we host a signature social ‘Better World’ to give something back. We handpick social enterprises and small NGO’s and support them through effective collaborative brainstorming.
Basically they come along and tell the group about the real world day-to-day issues and problems and operating decisions they are facing. The group discusses and debates these issues delivering solutions, advice and alternative options. In effect providing a valuable unique multi-disciplined think tank.
All of our Better World events so far have been met with fantastic enthusiasm and energy. They’re a great way to meet new people and challenge your preconceptions as you’re faced with different issues to resolve than you would usually encounter in your day to day life.
